The client
Q-Vent (q-vent.com) develops and manufactures rear-ventilated facade systems and has run its sales, warehouse and accounting in Odoo since the migration from SAP Business One. Three years later the system had to move from Odoo 16 to the current version.
The challenge
Three major versions apart means changed modules, a new interface and customisations that must be rewritten. The company could not afford an interruption in invoicing or warehouse operations.
The solution
Global One analysed every customisation, ported them to Odoo 19 and rehearsed the upgrade on a copy of the database while users kept working in the old version. The switch itself took place outside working hours after successful tests with the key users.
The result
Q-Vent runs the current Odoo version with all of its customisations, a new interface and a vendor-supported platform for the years ahead.
